If you are good at Coral Draw, you will find it is easier to draw a logo on Coral Draw, likewise, if you have better skills with Adobe illustrator, you will find it is easier to draw a log with Illustrator. I stopped using Coral Draw when I learned photoshop skills, these days when I have to design a logo or any other graphics, I use Photoshp. I don't think the teacher actually knew what he was doing, and probably just messed around in it in the past. I even took a High School course for Photoshop, which taught me absolutely nothing.
